GIFTS OF THE ANCESTORS, a Constellation Dance Workshop with Live Music, Zagreb, 1.11.

We spend much of our lives exploring what hurts. We work with trauma, family patterns, transgenerational stories, and the inheritance that weighs us down. This is an important part of the journey. Yet sometimes we become so focused on what needs healing that we lose sight of what is already supporting us.
And our ancestors did not leave us only burdens.
They also left us gifts.
Perhaps they passed on the strength to rise after a fall. The capacity to love. Creativity. Perseverance. A sense of community. Wisdom for living. Humor. Courage. Or a quiet life force that carries us through difficult times.
On All Saints’ Day, a time when we naturally remember those who came before us, we invite you to turn your attention toward what is valuable, nourishing, and supportive within your ancestral legacy.
Through Constellation Dance, movement, and live-created music, we will explore the gifts that flow toward us through generations. We will not seek them through analysis or reflection, but through the experience of the body, movement, and relationship—allowing the body to reveal what the mind often overlooks.
This workshop is an invitation to meet your roots from a perspective of gratitude and resources. To recognize what is already present within you and what can support you as you meet life’s challenges.
Because alongside everything that may have needed healing, there is also something that has always supported you.
Come and discover what that is for you.
The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience with dance or constellation work.
🎵 The music is created live throughout the workshop and follows the processes unfolding in the space, creating a unique experience for every group.

Using acting techniques and drama-based educational methods, she supports the development of personal growth, communication, self-expression, and creativity. In her work, she combines her extensive experience with the arts— theatre, puppetry, dance, music, and film—with body expression and psychotherapy. MAŠA LJOTIĆ PLICHTA
Beyond the usual facts—born here, educated there—I am a seeker of magic, and my search unfolds through music.
After completing my formal academic education, I experienced a profound expansion through personal growth, playing music from the soul, and searching for my authentic expression. Somewhere along the way, I discovered how to play through other people’s bodies and souls, guided by my violin.
My role in workshops is less about performing and more about listening—translating you and your dance into the notes of my instruments. I look forward to dancing, making music, and co-creating the magic that emerges when we come together.
And now for the formal part:
Born on August 20, 1986, in Niš and having spent most of my life in Belgrade, I have been involved with music since early childhood. The culmination of my formal education was graduating from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Since then, I have performed as a solo artist and played with various orchestras, ensembles, and bands. Improvisation is my right hand and another name for making music.
